Totem Pole Critters- Sketch -July Prompt
I'm sort of imagining these along the lines of the guardians from mulan, the cartoon characters that spring forth from their traditional chinese stone counterparts. Except these spring out from the totem poles. These were specifically inspired by this totem pole: http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Totem_Pole_Groombridge.JPG

Haha-- I like where this is heading. I really love the bird, he's quite funny. I imagine him being a bit ornery. I can definitely feel your influences in him. Can't wait to see more!
ReplyDeletehmm....I think i'll follow up on him more. I'm going to try desperately hard not to go on a zazu route with him. A nasty main character. Maybe like House...but a bird....hrmmm.....
ReplyDeleteHahaha, they all look terrified! If you are going for that side kick role, I think an expression page for each of them would look cool.
ReplyDeleteOr even a sketch of all of them in mid-transform from pole to characters.
